Altered Art Bottle Tabletop Centerpiece

This altered bottle, table top center piece, is a marvelous re-use of an old gold vintage brooch, front center on the bottle. Notice another clever use of jewelry destash is the old vintage pearl clip-on ear bobble sitting to the side right of the topper. Speaking of the topper, It is actually a Christmas ornament turned upside down. All the sequin trims and lace came from years and years of my collecting and preserving embellishments from clothing gone by.

Another interesting notation to be made about this glamorous altered Vintage bottle, is the use of texture paste around the shoulders of the bottle. It dries rock hard like cement, then I sprinkled more gold glitter blingage.

This bottle stands 12" tall and 3" wide.

It's not heavy but there is just enough weight to insure it's stability.

Did you see the gold flake inside the bottom of the bottle? The whole thing is just very very bling-a-dochously chic! The use of natural shabby muslin sets off the gold. It's stunning and I can't take my eyes off it and I made it!
